RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM 2023

Registration for Confirmation and First Communion will begin on Sunday August 6, 2023, from 9:00am to 1:30pm. at the porch of the Church. Also, we will accept registrations in the Parish Center starting Tuesday August 8, Tuesday through Friday from 9:30am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Religion Education Classes will be in English on Sundays at 8:45am to 9:45am. followed by the 10:00am. Mass. In Spanish classes will be Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm. to 7:30pm. Confirmation Classes are held twice a month on Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Calendars and more information will be given in the Registration package.
Online Registrations will be available on August 7, 2023.

Inscripciones para la Confirmación y Primera Comunión iniciarán el Domingo 6 de Agosto, 2023, de 9:00am a 1:30pm. en el porche de la Iglesia. También aceptaremos inscripciones en la oficina de la Iglesia iniciando el Martes 8 de Agosto, de Martes a Viernes de 9:30am a 12:00om y de 1:00pm a 4:00pm. Las clases de Catecismo en Inglés serán los Domingos de 8:45am a 9:45am. en Español los Miércoles y los Jueves de 6:30pm. a 7:30pm. Las clases de Confirmación seran dos veces al mes de 5:00pm a 7:00pm. Calendarios y más información sobre la Confirmación y la Primera Comunión se darán en el paquete de indcripción. Inscripciones estaran disponibles en línea el 7 de Agosto.

OLMC Religious Education Program
Our two year Sacramental Program runs from September to April each year.
In the First Year of Religious Education the children learn about God our Father, Jesus, Mary, the Saints, the liturgical calendar. In the Second year, we focus on the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. This is a journey of faith until they get to the Table of the Lord.
Classes are held in the OLMC School building.
· Religious Education classes in English are held on Sundays at 8:45 AM to 9:45AM. Followed by the 10:00 A.M. Mass.
· Religious Education classes in Spanish are held on Wednesdays or Thursdays at 6:30PM. To 7:30PM.
Children are placed into Groups based upon their grade level, as the books and materials provided are matched to grade level. We accept children ages six to Fifteen years old.
All children will receive First Communion during their second year in the program. Baptized children will receive the Sacrament in April and May. Children who are not baptized, will receive the Sacrament on Easter Sunday.
Registrations:
Registrations take place throughout the month of August. Registrations can be submitted online or in person.
In Person Registration will take place at the front of the Church each Sunday during the month of August from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. and in the Parish Center
Tuesday through Friday from 9:30AM. to 12:00PM. and 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
Upon registration, a program calendar will be provided. The calendar will include the dates of the classes, meetings and/or retreats children will be participating in for the year.
Registration Fees:
One Child: $75.
Two Children $130.00
Three Children: $170.00
There is no additional charge for families having 4 or more children enrolled in the program.
Registration fees include: books, materials, activity sheets and supplies.
Families who are experiencing a financial hardship are encouraged to contact Magdalena Hernandez to discuss options and arrangements.
